A soft return to your own power.

SomaShaktiYogaMoon is a boutique practice for women who feel deeply and rise fully — an invitation to move slowly, listen inward, and reclaim the intelligence of the feminine body.
Founded and taught by Emilie — born in France, grounded in Melbourne — sessions blend traditional yoga flow, somatic inquiry and ritual. Each class is offered in English or French, in-studio and by private appointment.
A Practice Rooted in Lived Experience
Emilie began practising Iyengar Yoga in Byron Bay in 2009 during a weekend retreat with friends. The discipline, precision, and quiet challenge of Iyengar lit something up in her — a sense of coming home to her body. After moving to Melbourne, she continued her practice at one of the city’s leading Iyengar studios, deepening her understanding of alignment, stability, and mindful progression.
Yoga became her anchor through the birth of her twins, the intensity of raising toddlers, and the demands of full‑time work without family support in Australia. It moved from being a practice to becoming a way of living — a nervous‑system refuge, a place to breathe again.
A Turning Point
After her son’s ADHD and ASD diagnosis, and her own ADHD diagnosis and burnout, Emilie made the courageous decision to step away from senior corporate work. She chose to design and share a yoga experience specifically for women and people identifying as women, supporting emotional regulation, grounding, and nervous‑system restoration.
How Emilie Teaches
“I create a safe and comfortable space where you can breathe, relax, and feel yourself again. My classes weave posture, flow, breathwork, and restorative practices. It is a full body, senses, and mind experience.”
Her teaching is gentle yet precise, intuitive yet structured — a blend of somatic listening, feminine embodiment, and Iyengar-informed alignment.
“Là où l’énergie féminine devient puissance.”
